Heartburn Nausea Symptoms

Q.Can anyone tell me how long this virus lasts or what to do to ease the symptoms? Strange virus our family has recieved with diarrea, nausea, burning heartburn , body aches..................Our symptoms have lightened up a bit but it has been 3 days now. Can anyone in the group help me please? Are those the symptoms of Heartburn Nausea Symptoms?

A.It sounds like a virus, and the best thing you can do is just wait it out. Stay away from other people, get plenty of rest, and drink lots of fluids to prevent dehydration. You should be on the mend in a couple more days. If not, see your doctor As you know, antibiotics don't fight viruses such as the flu virus unless you get a secondary bacterial infection. If your lungs start hurting, watch out for pneumonia (bacterial infection) which causes deaths from flu. Also, keep an abnormally high temperature down. They always say "drink plenty of fluids" - Bottom line, seems like just wait until you get better and try not to infect anybody else I think its the 72 Hour stomach flu. Both my kids got it. It VERY contagious. They had Nausea, diarrhea no heartburn. But most likely that's what it is. No medicine for it. Just plenty of water & soup. Dont eat nothing heavy.
