Heartburn Relief For Pregnant Women

Q.I am having some kinds of problems here 1. Last night, the grossest thing happened to me. I was sleeping (had just nodded off, really) and suddenly I woke up with a little vomit/acid stomache in my mouth and had to rush to the bathroom to spit. VOMIT.IN.MY.SLEEP. BLEEEAH! I guess this is the heartburn I've heard so much about??? Any tips, suggestions, or do I just get to gross myself out the next 3 months? 2. Bikinis-- okay, so I've got the belly, but not the boobs. At any rate, I was considering maybe I don't need a maternity bathing suit (the ones I tried on looked horrible).... maybe I could just use what I have... it is a rather modest bikini number.... the top would def. still fit (sadly!), and the bottoms I think might... they are almost the "boy short" type of bottom, but I think they would sit under my belly now but still be okay on, coverage wise. If I dare to sport a bare belly..... what would you all do? Buy the cover-up suit that looks like I'm from the 1940s, or go with the bare belly o'plenty? I really need to hit my gym's pool (the relief on my back alone will make it worth it) but can I really go bare-bellied??? can anyone in the group help me solve out these problems please?

A.Do not know too much about heart burn. But about the bikini issue, all I can say is that I am completely jealous that you can still fit into your old suit. I have gained 35 pounds and I used to love bathingsuits when I was a size 4, now I would not be caught dead in one. We went to Jamaica in. and I bought all these cute, sexy Victoria Secret bikinis and now, would not even think about wearing one, well.. they would never fit. But for you, I say go for it! If I could I would. When we were in Jamaica there were tons of pregnant women running around in their bikinis and it looked really cute. I saw a few in one pieces and they looked cute too. I say wear whatever you are comfortable in. Have a great time swimming. I forgot where you live, but in California anything goes.
