A.I have seen people get good results from homeopathic cures. I haven't done (or seen) any double-blind studies done on it, though. I simply don't know how much placebo effect is involved. I have some herbal capsules that are touted to help acid reflux. They are not the "dilute it and dilute it again" homeopathic remedies. They are simple herbal remedies. They might work on others, but they don't work on me. Protonic works well for me There is no doubt that herbals work. I have used them - very carefully. I prefer, however, to go with the nutritional "support the body" type remedies - unless the problem is annoying enough to require a doctor.
