Q.I began having a sensation of something stuck in my throat long time ago . I was found to have acid reflux and have been on Prilosec since then. I also had an endoscopy at the time and was found to have severe esophogitis, but no Barrett's. The doctor assures me that no further damage is being done, but I still have the sensation in my throat. It can happen anytime, and almost seems unrelated to what I've had to eat. The sensation can be strong and sometimes not bad to barely there at all. It can be bad first thing in the morning without having had anything to eat for hours. One doctor said it's just a sensation and there's nothing going on at all. Both doctors I've been to don't seem concerned. I worry that the esophogitis is getting worse, and I wonder if I should have another endoscopy to be sure. Has anyone had a similar experience?
