Homeopathic Remedies For Acid Reflux

Q.I am almost 11 weeks pregnant and have been having the hardest time with constipation. i have been taking milk of magnesia at night like the bottle says but it is not hjelping i talked to my doctor yesterday and she take it one more time and if you do not have a bowel movement go in and see her. so i took it again but this time during the day and i went. i was backed up big time now today my stomach feels blah like i am sick and now i have alot of heartburn. is this normal and soes anyone have any relief ideas for i know i will be going through this again Can anyone in the group help me find out the Homeopathic Remedies For Acid Reflux. Because I don't want this to last for too long.

A.The only releif I can suggest is to find a pattern in the foods you are eating that make you constipated. Early in my pregnancy I ate alot of pepperoni and oh my god the pain I would get in the middle of the night along with the biggest urge to go but could nt, would just sit there with my head on the sink praying it would stop. I found a pattern in the food I ate and once I eliminated them It was much better and towards the end of my pregnancy I was able to eat those things again with no problem.. this is common to experience early in the pregnancy. By the time your new baby is with you you will forget all about this stuff. My doc recommended eating about 4 or 5 prunes each day to help me stay regular. It has definitely helped! As for the heartburn, I get that so bad everyday! Here are a few suggestions: -Learn what foods give you heartburn/indigestion and avoid them. -Stay away from spicy/greasy foods. -Eat an early dinner to give your body a chance to digest before bedtime. -In bed, sleep with your pillows propped up, so that you are not laying flat. -Take tums before eating foods that may give you heartburn. -Take tums after a meal that has already given you heartburn.
