Indigestion Symptoms

Q.I've been experiencing indigestion symptoms when I feel bloated after eating something. I've tried betaine hydrochlordie and it has helped a bit, but my symptoms returned after. My stomach also feels a llittle sore, but there isn't any pain or symptoms of too much acid. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me, or tell what's going on

A.One of the things I learned was that fruit, when eaten with other foods, can cause bloating. This is because fruit sugar is digested by the small intestine, and rather quickly when eaten on its own. But if you eat fruit with something else, the digestion of the fruit sugar is slowed down, often enough for the fruit sugar to ferment somewhat in your gut, causing the gas bloat. So if its fruit you're eating before you have this problem, try eating it on its own. I also find that fibrous fruit like apples are enough trouble by themselves. Try a peach (ripe) and see if that's ok. prevent indigestion, you might try adding a digestive aid. Be sure it includes papain for proteins, amylase for starch and lipase and bile salts for fats. Also, try not to eat gas-producing foods like excess sugars, beans, or excess fiber.
