Q.the stuff I'd been using hadn't really help, the antacids don't do a good job on the long term, but I went and looked up some sites on natural heartburn remedies.... It said that it's a myth that mint is good for heartburn, in fact, can make it a bit worse, even if at first there might be immediate relief. One of the things they mentioned was chamomile tea, so for the past 2 days I have been drinking it. Wow, do I ever feel like a new woman. So does anyone in the group have any comment about this?Please help me?I am still wondering all about this?

Store bought no name brand antacids work fine for me, it just sucks running out and forgetting to get more. So I can suggest you here some of the tips that I have known: Mint causes spasms of the sphincter that lets food into your stomach allowing acid to come back up. Mints are used for indigestion related to sluggishness to stimulate the emptying of the stomach into the small intestines and to aid the movement of food through the intestines. Mint should never be used with infants or small children either.
