Non Acid Reflux

Q.Acid reflux; healthy lifestyle, non drinker/ smoker, good diet...baffled as to why they still suffer from it? Can you recommend any other procedure to get rid of this ailment that is effecting their home life and career; has them clutching their throats in pain all the time! Do you know any operations that will help? Would getting the tonsils removed be a start? People in medical careers or people only in the know only please so can anyone in the group help me find out the non acid reflux please?

A.It might be caused by a Hiatal hernia, it would cause the acids to come back up and burn your esophagaus. My mom has this problem, her acid reflux is something else! You can get a hiatal hernia fixed,my mom cannot because her body can't handle surgery, but if you are relatively healthy otherwise, I would contact my doc and see if this is the true problem I also get it but not to the extreme where I can't function and live normally. My diet is reasonable, I don't smoke or drink either. Are they stressed about anything in particular as this is the only thing that tends to bring it on. You need to clear your mind and take a holiday and see if that helps before going for any medical treatment.
