Quick Relief For Heartburn

Q.What do you recommend for immediate heartburn relief? I am uncomfortable in the center of my chest - almost like I swallowed something whole. I am also burping a lot. I am wondering if it might be heartburn - and think it might be caused by eccessive red wine--- can anyone relate? so can anyone help me find the quick relief for heartburn please?

A.I think that you should do these things nexium prilosec or xantac would work the best but i do prefer nexium so that if you have acid reflux disease the meds will start healing your esophagus Try mylanta gelcaps over the counter, I have had alot of stomach problems and have tried about everything, this helps the fastest. Or try the liquid also. prilosec otc, mylanta are helpful, if symtoms do not get better in some time and if you notice any new symptoms, call a doctor immediately A teaspoon of baking soda in a half glass of water will knock it out fast, give it a try
