Remedies For Acid Reflux

Q.Some quick heartburn tips.? I was just wondering if anyone knew of some home remedies to get rid of heartburn? i am really having to suffer from this problem , I can't sleep or I can 't eat well My mind is just spinning around So can anyone in the group help me please?

A.I suffer from severe heartburn as well. The first answer would be my answer too for a 'quick fix'. But go to a docter to get the perscription Nexium. Small purple capsules that really work. But be prepared for some side effects, such as headache. I'd rather have a pounding headache though than the pain my heartburn causes. Heartburn is usually wrongfully thought to be a condition of too little acid in the stomach so people start taking antacids wich is the absolute WRONG thing to do. Heartburn is result of too little acid in the stomach and therefore the foods that you ingest cannot be digested efficiently. This may sound strange but it works. I have found that taking a teaspoon or a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar works. Know that this is just a quick fix to relieve your symtpoms and alkalize your body. If you want long term results you need to change your diet. You are ingesting too much meat, dairy , processed foods, sugar,etc.. Try eating whole foods, such as vegetables, fruit, whole grains and stay away from caffeine and fried foods.
