Severe Heartburn Pain

Q.I am having severe heartburn. It hurts so bad. What should i do? I'm at work and i cannot stay seating behind my desk because it is so uncomfortable. any suggestions on how to ease the pain? Oh yea 6 months pregnant. so can anyone in the group help me please?

Minimizing heartburn: 1.Try eating foods that won't cause heartburn. Avoid acidic, carbonated drinks, spicy, fried foods and things with caffeine. 2.When you sleep, sleep on an incline (prop yourself up with a pillow). 3. Eat several small meals throughout your day. I know exactly what you are going through. I have it when I drink water. Everything causes it. I drink lots of cold milk. If you cannot do that since you are at work, try peppermints. I keep the soft ones in my desk and suck on those. They do wonders
