Severe Heartburn Pain

Q.I am having severe heartburn. It hurts so bad. What should i do? I'm at work and i cannot stay seating behind my desk because it is so uncomfortable. any suggestions on how to ease the pain? Oh yea 6 months pregnant. so can anyone in the group help me please?

A.You should try these things Take tums. My case was very severe that my doctor put me on prevacid. I'm asthmatic and the heartburn made it even more difficult for me to breathe. Minimizing heartburn: 1.Try eating foods that won't cause heartburn. Avoid acidic, carbonated drinks, spicy, fried foods and things with caffeine. 2.When you sleep, sleep on an incline (prop yourself up with a pillow). 3. Eat several small meals throughout your day. I know exactly what you are going through. I have it when I drink water. Everything causes it. I drink lots of cold milk. If you cannot do that since you are at work, try peppermints. I keep the soft ones in my desk and suck on those. They do wonders
