Severe Heartburn

Q.i'm recently getting severe heartburn, i'm 34 weeks prego. Does anyone or did anyone take anything to help? I'm taking tums but thats not working and then i was told to drink a tablespoon of pickle juice and that didnt work either. What did you try and if it worked. Can anyone in the group help me please?

A.I think that you should take gaviscon it really helps and take the double action one at night relieves immediate heartburn but also excess stomach acid which causes recurring heartburn! Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is awesome for heartburn, but I am not sure if you can take it while pregnant, you might want to consult a doctor first, it burns a little going down, we take a shot of it but delude it with water too, but it instantly helps with heartburn. Also I have heard watermelon is really good with heartburn, my friend who just had a baby suffered from bad heartburn while pregnant and she swore by watermelon baking soda and water. its like 1 tablespoon to a glass of water. the directions are on the baking soda box. this has been a lifesaver to me because it works INSTANTLY but it doesnt last. I would get a prescription from your doctor.
