Treating Acid Reflux

Q.My best friends mother was at the hospital last week as she had a lump on her side, after closer examination the doctors found that it was cancerous and that she also has two cancerous lumps growing in her breasts, yesterday her doctors told her that these three lumps they have found are secondary lumps comming from they think a tumor in either her lungs or her stomach but they carnt be sure until she goes under the mri scanner tommorrow shes had wheeziness and heartburn for the past two months, has anyone any experience of this situation or an idea of what form of cancer it coud be? types of treatment/ and life expectancy? My friend is in pieces and confides in me but because I dont have much experience of cancer (thankfully) I just wanted some information of what it could be, and the seriousness of the situation we re facing ahead of us? Can anyone give me the way to treat this acid reflux?

A.i don't know what kinda cancer that it could be but i can tell you that my best friends dad just passed a way from having non small sell lung cancer. and it had spread to his spin and the muscle's in his back. and it didn't take long for it to go from there to his brain. the treatment that he started out with is chemo, and radiation.but didn't help it had spread anyways.after they found out that it had spread to his spin then they started giving him so more radiation treatment and they said that it was for they pain only that there is no cure. And he lived for 8 months after he found out that he had lung cancer. he had went into a coma just before he passed away. but you could tell that he was at peace of mind.
