Treatments For Acid Reflux

Q.I have been taking ImmunoPro for almost a year and I don't see that it helps with digestion. I have a hyatial hyneria and it hasn't helped that at all, I still get chest pains and alot of acid. As far as taking it forever, I don't know about that, I haven't asked the doc about it. But I think that with this DD each one of us is different and what works for me might not work for you. I think that depends on your symptoms and how it effects you. can anyone find the suitable treatment for me please?

A.I've had severe problems with acid reflux and the only thing that I found that helps is 30mg of Prevacid (prescription) twice a day. That's twice the normal dose but it is the only thing that stopped the severe pain and crazy amount of acid. I was taking antacids (both prescription and not), Mylanta, etc, nothing worked until the high dose of Prevacid. I know that leaving the acid reflux untreated can cause serious problems so I figured I would pass this along to you in case it might help you.
