Vinegar Cure Acid Reflux

Q.i have acid reflux and the only thing that really seems to help is apple cider vinegar.if i just eat a apple i don't get the same effect. i need to take this everytime i eat or the reflux cough starts. even prescribed drugs do not work as well. i'am in the process of losing the 40lbs i need to lose andkeeping track of what i eat. i also have asthma. why apple cider vinegar? So can anyone in the group help me please?

A.Apple cider vinegar provides acid for your stomach. An apple does not -- as you've realized. So, if you have acid reflux and vinegar helps, then your reflux is actually caused by not enough acid! That's why the prescription drugs don't helpthere must be something in it that you can't get in other types of vinegar. i couldn't tell you what it is. i like cider vinegar. i make salad dressing using that. you could do that, if you hate taking it. just buy some of those packets at the store for making your own italian dressing and make it with apple cider vinegar. eat it on a salad. if you're trying to lose weight this would be good too. you can get in some raw veggies with your meals and by making it yourself, you can control how much oil (fat) you put in the dressing.
