Vinegar Heartburn Remedy

Q.Heartburn caused or cured by vinegar or pickle juice? I've been searching online for natural remedies for heartburn. Depending on the source, vinegar and/or pickle juice is either a cause of or a great remedy for heartburn. Why is this? And what is your personal experience and opinion? so can anyone in the group help me please?

A.There are many causes of heartburn such as tomatoes, pickles, oranges, milk chocolate, onions, ketchup, lemons, etc. due to the acidic or citrus compounds. Cures vary. Some say milk which never worked for me. I drink a cold soda as I found the carbon and carmel coloring neutralizes the acids relieving my heartburn. I've heard breathing into a brown bag works for my brother, not me. I have acid reflux disease and I was told by my doctor never to eat pickles or drink pickle juice as it will irritate my esphogus and bring on heartburn. Those things used to cause heartburn for me, big time. I no longer have heartburn or acid reflux as I have found a natural remedy.
