Vitamins Cause Heartburn

Q.Is it true that heartburn medicines ex:(prilosec) cause this problem? i been taking prilosec since years to treat my acute gastritis. (inflammation of stomach lining) and i being diagnosed with vitamin b12 deficiency and i do have symptoms such as weakness, tingling feeling in feet and hands, etc. doctor said these heartburn medicines can cause vitamin b12 not to absorb properly if taken for long time. now i am taking b12 and folic acid suplements but not actually feeling any better yet. so i will plan to go for b12 shots if doctor recommends it. my question is...should i continue to take prilosec while being on b12 vitamin or i must stop taking prilosec and fix the b12 deficency first? and does anyone else have this b12 deficency anemia if yes then are you treating it with pills or shots? Can anyone in the group help me please?

A.Here are the tips for you All heartburn medicines are bad for you and will cause all kinds of problems beacuse you are interferring with the body's abbility to digest and absorb foods. quit taking the heartburn meds and start looking at your diet and what you eat that causes the heartburn. or what your stress level is like. Your stomach needs the acids it produces to digest food correctly, nutralise errant bacteria and germs that frequent the food you eat. Just eat healthy, all the other problems will go away.
